Shock Kidz did not advance to Sunday. It was not the outcome they wanted but there were great moments and learning moments on the field Friday and Saturday. Time to prep for World Cup!

Brady picked up his teammate Max Stancel at the airport. Both boys are competing in the duel at KC Sports Complex. To prepare for the Duel, Brady spent 4 days practicing with Joe Twickler at DMPP.

Both boys won their first 2 matches. Brady faced Kevin Cavanaugh and beat him 10-3 in the second game.
Brady lost this round but put up a good fight. Jeremy was a tough opponent.

Todd gave Brady a headband for his 3rd place win. Overall, Brady won 4 matches and lost 2 match. This was his first time doing the duel format and he learned a lot.

One of the traditions at Des Moines Paintball Park is to hang broken equipment in the rafters of the pit area. Brady was playing there and core sampled as he dove into the snake. His marker was fine but his loader did not survive the impact. He got to hang it up with Joe's broken regulator. He signed the inside with his number before he hung it up. The memory will live on!

As the sun sets on the 2024 paintball season, it was one full of amazing memories. There were event podiums and event disappointments but each one brings growth. The off-season work continues for Brady both in the gym and practicing to be ready for 2025. Here's to more travels, adventures and hopefully more podiums in the year ahead.
